Microsoft Azure is currently experiencing capacity issues within their data centres. This applies across the EU but is especially prevalent in the UK South and UK West regions.

When adding new subscriptions within the Azure portal, you’ll be advised if a data centre is unavailable and provided with alternatives. The recommended data centres at this time are US East or US South Central.

If you have existing resource in the UK, it’s recommended that you don’t  scale up and down regularly, otherwise there may not be the required capacity available to scale back up.

Due to these issues Microsoft is seeing a large number of incidents, meaning response times to tickets/calls are longer then usual.

We’ll keep you up to date on this as the situation evolves but please get in touch if you have any questions.
